North Dakota State College of Science standout Ambah Kowcun is a finalist for the World Exposure Report NJCAA Division 1 Freshman of the Year Award.

Kowcun was a scoring machine for the Lady Wildcats in her first season, ending the season second in the country for total points and third in points per game. The Australian also led the nation in 3-pointers with 95.

Kowcun helped NDSCS to a 14-9 record on the season.
