The North Dakota AP Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association announced its awards for the 2020-21 sports season on Tuesday.

Both the North Dakota State College of Science Lady Wildcat volleyball and softball teams were in the final three for the College Female Team with the Jamestown University volleyball team winning the award.

NDSCS volleyball was second and NDSCS softball third.

The Lady Wildcats softball team went 31-12 over its final 43 games to win the Region 13 tournament and advance to the Division III national tournament where they placed fifth.

The Lady Wildcats volleyball team finished 21-3, including a perfect 17-0 in MonDak play, finishing one win short of the national tournament
