The Wahpeton Huskies were swept by the West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs on Tuesday. The Mustangs (7-2 overall, 1-0 EDC) locked the Huskies down in West Fargo, winning 4-0 and 11-2.

Wahpeton (3-5 overall, 1-2 EDC) was held to three hits in the conference game. Sheyenne only had four, but capitalized on eight free bases with six walks and two players hit by pitch.

The Huskies’ lone two runs of the night came in the fifth inning of the non-conference game. Connor Higdem came in on a wild pitch and Treyton Link scored on an error.

Wahpeton stays on the road to face Valley City at 7 p.m. Thursday.
