Breckenridge-Wahpeton softball standout Adi Dodge has been selected to play June 7 in the prestigious Class 2A Minnesota All-Star Series. The senior catcher and Bethel University signee is batting .535 with 17 doubles, four home runs, 33 RBIs and 23 runs scored across 22 games.

Dodge will be joined at the all-star event by fellow Section 8AA athletes Eagan Hastings (Hawley), Jada Dykhoff (Wadena-Deer Creek), Ellie Boyd (DGF) and Katie Kittelson (DGF).

The all-star series features the top seniors from each class of Minnesota high school softball. Class 2A is home to 120 teams, and just 22 players were chosen to participate from the metro area and greater Minnesota.

Dodge will take a ridiculous .585 on-base percentage and a 1.529 OPS into Tuesday’s section playoff game vs. Warroad. The senior also boasts a .981 fielding percentage.

Tuesday’s elimination game in the Section 8AA Tournament starts at 2 p.m. on AM 1450 KBMW from Frazee, as the third round moves to a neutral site for remaining teams.
