University of Minnesota Crookston catcher Jackson Fliflet has been named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate All-Conference First Team.
Fliflet, a three-time state champion with Wahpeton American Legion, leads the Golden Eagles in several categories. The redshirt sophomore is batting .329 with 18 home runs and 48 RBIs. The right-handed hitter holds a staggering 1.181 OPS with 11 doubles across 48 games. Behind the plate, he’s posted a .983 fielding percentage.
The Golden Eagles (26-23) open the NSIC Tournament on Wednesday against Augustana University (37-13).
