JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Zoe Absey is with the Great Plains Food Bank of North Dakota. She said back in September, we hosted a Community Meeting in Jamestown to discuss food access, opportunities and gaps in services. We had a rich conversation and heard that coming back together for another touch point around ending hunger in Stutsman County would be beneficial.

She said please join us Thursday, February 29th from 3:30-5:00 PM at the Stutsman County Extension Office to hear from you and dive deeper into the strengths of your community, what is happening in your area related to food access, and how we can all work together to end hunger. This event is free and open to the public and there will be refreshments available.

Absey said we are the only food bank that services the state of North Dakota and we do this work through our 194 food pantry and meal site partners that are scattered across the state helping feed our neighbors.

Please sign up through our Eventbrite and share with individuals and organizations that you think should be at the table!
