The Annual Hoopster North Dakota Basketball Preview was released this week marking the beginning of the basketball pre season. The Wahpeton Huskies Boy’s Basketball team was picked finish tenth in the Eastern Conference according to the coaches polled.
Wahpeton brings back ten lettermen including seniors Blake Schafer, Jacob DeVries and Tori Uhlich. Ethan Manock and Caden Kappes who both contributed to last year’s team are back again for their first season as upperclassmen in the program. Manock is one of the state’s leading rebounders, returning after averaging 8.3 a game last season.

The departure of Munezero Desire and Tyler Tollefson, two All State Second Team players, leaves some big roles to fill by Head Coach Jeff Ralph. Ralph’s Huskies will look to play spoiler to a lot of team’s early with the Huskies first game coming on December 7th.
