Breckenridge senior Cooper Yaggie became just the seventh player in Cowboys basketball history to score 1,000 points in a career when he scored 24 points Thursday to lead Breckenridge to an 82-70 win over Wheaton-Herman-Norcross at Wheaton.

Yaggie joins Brady Lipp, Mike Herrick, Joe Terfehr, Nate Lorenz, current Cowboys coach Stevin Lipp and Noah Christensen on the exclusive list.

Breckenridge improved to 12-5 overall this season with one game remaining in the regular season at Frazee on Saturday.

Yaggie’s 24 points led four Cowboys in double figures.

Jonah Christensen scored 19 points, Adam Ohm 15 and Anthony Conzemius 11.

Yaggie, Christensen and Conzemius all had seven rebounds to lead the team
