The Breckenridge Cowboys basketball team went 0-2 over the weekend, losing 81-78 at Barnesville on Friday at 80-73 at Moorhead on Saturday.

Friday against Barnesville, the Cowboys and Trojans traded runs for most of the game with the Trojans building 71-59 lead with just under five minutes to play. Breckenridge got within a point with 19 seconds left but a late hoop by Barnesville sealed the win.

Jonah Christensen led Breckenridge with 20 points and nine rebounds while Cooper Yaggie scored 17. Sebastian Anderson added 14 points.

Against the Spuds, the Cowboys trailed by 10 points with eight minutes to play and got as close and seven points down the stretch.

Anthony Conzemius scored 22 points for Breckenridge with Yaggie adding 20 and eight rebounds. Adam Ohm chipped in 15 points.
