Milbank built a 23-0 halftime lead en route to a 29-14 win over the Wahpeton Huskies in the season opener for Wahpeton.
The game was the second of the season for Milbank, now 2-0 on the season.
The Bulldogs scored twice in the first quarter and added a third touchdown in the second quarter for a 23-0 lead.
The Huskies scored on their first play of the third quarter when junior quarterback Blake Shafer hit sophomore wide receiver Caden Kappes for a 70-yard touchdown.
Wahpeton closed the margin to 23-14 with a 14-yard touchdown pass from Shafer to senior wide out Treyton Link with 10:44 to play in the ball game.
Milbank put the game away with a late touchdown.
Wahpeton will be at home next Friday to host Hazen. The game will start at 6:30 p.m. at Frank Vertin Field.
