Viking Lutheran Church 125th Anniversary Celebration

The active Viking Cemetery Association will be hosting a Commemorative Service and Veterans Remembrance starting at 11 a.m. at the Viking Township Church in rural Walcott.
The Viking Church and Cemetery was incorporated in 1907 and was preceded by the Silver Prairie Church in 1888 and East Silver Prairie Church in 1899. Silver Prairie consisted of an area lying between what is now McLeod to the west, Barrie to the north, Colfax to the east and Wyndmere to the south.
Past and present members that may have moved away or are now worshipping elsewhere are invited to join for this special community day.
