The All-Region 1A roster has been announced. Wahpeton senior guard Brayden Steffens and junior guard Jack Gilbertson are all-region selections for the second straight year.
Steffens averages 19 points per game and Gilbertson averages 18. The Huskies will play in the state-qualifier round against Grafton at 3 p.m. Saturday on KBMW.
Steffens, the Huskies’ all-time leading scorer, was also named Senior Athlete of the Year.
RaeShaun Earl was named Senior Athlete of the Year in Region 1B after leading Hankinson to a top-five ranking and scoring 57 points in the district title game. Fellow Pirate Gunnar Illg joined Earl on the all-region squad.
