1 New Top Team, Area Teams In Class A In Latest Volleyball Polls

Carrington and Valley City again have places in Class A and a new team tops Class B in the volleyball polls by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters & Sportswriters Association, released Tuesday.

Carrington moved up one spot in the Class A poll from the last ranking.  The Cardinals are now second.  Valley City is down one place to number five.  South Prairie-Max remains number one, with 10 of the 15 first-place votes.  Carrington took four and Thompson received one.

Century remains on top of the Class AA poll, but voters ranked several programs first.  While Century received nine of the 15 first-place votes, Sheyenne garnered two while Davies, Horace and West Fargo received one each.

Linton-Hazelton/Moffit/Braddock displaced Langdon Area/Munich at the top of the Class B poll.  L-HMB took 11 first place votes and Langdon received four.
