The No. 2-ranked North Dakota State College of Science football team made quick work of Central Lakes on the road Saturday, blowing out the Raiders by a score of 42-0 and improving to 7-0 in the process.
NDSCS rolled out a vicious rushing attack led by Tellise Clark Jr. The talented back ran for 153 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Michael Douglas Jr. added 64 yards and a score on 10 carries and Kenyon Slaughter-Keen produced 59 yards on 10 totes.
Wildcats quarterback Jacob Mattick was efficient, completing 8 of 12 passes for 92 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Trevon Rodriguez continued his blistering season out wide with four catches, 40 yards receiving and a TD. Ishmael Emmanuel-Holloway also found the end zone with two catches and 26 yards.
Michael Woods led NDSCS with six tackles. Terrell Renne and Kendall Aguirre both recorded a sack and the Wildcats defense forced three fumbles.
NDSCS hosts conference rival Rochester at 1:30 p.m. Sunday to wrap up the regular season on B 92.7 and www.kbmwnews.com.
