Tori Uhlich, a former Wahpeton Post 20 state champion and current North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) outfielder, has signed to continue his baseball career at University of Minnesota Crookston.
The NDSCS sophomore will finish his Wildcat career before joining the Golden Eagles. Last season, Uhlich batted .423 with 52 runs scored and 45 steals. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound left-handed hitter ranked second in NJCAA DIII for stolen bases.
NDSCS will look to build on its program-best 16-win season, returning several core players and adding fellow Wahpeton Post 20 champions Skyler Bladow and Cooper Klosterman to the roster. Former Post 20 pitcher Nick Zach will return for his sophomore season, and Post 20 alum Jake Uhlich will serve as assistant coach to second-year frontman Jack Junker.
