The Wahpeton girls golf team set another school record with a team round of 322 at Rose Creek Golf Course in Fargo on Tuesday. The Huskies finished third with Scout Woods and Ella Langenwalter qualifying as individuals for the state meet.
It will be the first time all six of the varsity golfers have qualified for the individual state meet as they make a case for being one of the most accomplished Wahpeton golf teams in school history.
Claire Langenwalter shot a career low round of 77 and Ella Langenwalter also had her best round with an 83.
Rounding out the competitors were Halle Miller with an 80 on the day, London Nordick followed with an 82 and Olivia Hansen finished with an 87.
West Fargo Sheyenne won the meet with a score of 299 and Grand Forks Red River shot 303.
Wahpeton moves on to play at the Fargo Country Club at 9 a.m. Monday.
