WCCO Belting Inc., in Wahpeton has been purchased by the company Continental, which is based out of Fairlawn, Ohio.
Continental plans to retain all of WCCO’s workforce. The company said they’re looking to strengthen its conveying solutions business in the agriculture industry.
The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Prior to its purchase, WCCO was a 70-year family-owned business started by Edward Shorma of Wahpeton.
