Breckenridge City Administrator Renae Smith had her resignation accepted at the City Council meeting on Monday. Smith will work though the end of the month.
The council members said they voted regretfully to accept it and Mayor Russ Wilson thanked Smith for her service since starting the position in 2013. The council chamber applauded Smith following the speech.
The next City Council meeting is at 5 p.m. Monday, May 2 at Breckenridge City Hall.
