35-year-old Amber Meyer of rural Hankinson was reported missing by her family on Wednesday, Jan. 27.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Office monitored ping data, indicating Amber’s phone was in Vermillion, South Dakota.
Vermillion police located Amber and determined that she was safe and Amber’s family has been notified.
The Vermillion Police Department, Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and Clay County Sheriff’s Office of South Dakota will all involved in the search.
