The Dwight, Wahpeton and Breckenridge Fire Departments responded to a fire at the Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative Sugar Beet Plant north of Wahpeton.
The departments got the call of the fire around 5:30 a.m. and were shortly on the scene.
Dwight Fire Chief Andy Gregor said no fire was visible upon arrival. Dwight Fire Cheif Andy Gregor said there were no visible signs of a fire upon arrival and the fire was determined to be in the coal boiler room.
Gregor said the main issue was trying to find a way to get to the top of the building.
Gregor said most of the fire departments had departed the scene with about an hour and a half after arriving.
No cause for the fire was immediately available. There were some minor injuries reported.
Gregor said Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative will issue a release once the determination has been made.
