
The Wahpeton Lady Huskies golf team qualified two more golfers for this fall’s state meet while two golfers placed inside the top five Wednesday at the Grand Forks Invitational at Kings Walk Golf Course.
Senior Madison Bohn shot a 9-over-par 81 to finish fourth and qualify for the state meet. Junior Anaka Lysne was right behind in fifth place with an 82. Lysne had previously qualified for state.
Eighth grader Halle Miller added an 88 for 16th place and a spot at the state tournament.
Also for Wahpeton, McKenna Koolmo had a 99, Lily Anderson 101, Scout Woods 111, London Nordick 119 and Ella Graves 125.
Wahpeton finished third as a team with a 350 score. Fargo Shanley won the team title at 325 with Fargo Davies second at 329.
