Former Rothsay standout and North Dakota State Bison basketball player Jordan Aaberg died unexpectedly at 29 on Wednesday.
Aaberg died at his home Tuesday night after collapsing.
The 6-foot-9 Aaberg averaged 25 points, 15 rebounds, 7 blocks and 4 assists a game for Rothsay during his senior year in leading the Tigers to their first Little Eight Conference title in 13 years.
Aaberg signed with NDSU in 2009 and played four seasons with the Bison despite various injuries. As a senior in 2014, Aaberg was part of the Bison team to advance to the NCAA tournament and beat Oklahoma in the first round.
