City of Wahpeton Ordinance Chapter 12, Article 5 requires that property owners mow grass,
noxious weeds, etc. before they reach 8 inches in height. Failure to do so may result in the City
mowing and billing or assessing the charges to the property. The property owner may be charged
the actual costs of mowing plus a $50 fine for the first offense and $100 for the second offense.
Continued violations may result in additional fines, fees, and criminal penalties.
