Bell, 4 Unanimous Selections Highlight AA All-State Basketball Teams

One of the best ever in North Dakota high school baseball ended her career with another honor.

Girls AA/A all-time leading scorer Leelee Bell of AA state champion Minot was one of three unanimous selections to the Class AA All-State team, announced Thursday by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters & Sportswriters Association.

Bell scored 3,159 points in her five-year varsity career, which included two state championships and twice being named Gatorade Player of the Year.  The future University of Louisville player is the fourth North Dakota player to have over 3,000 career points and the third girl.  Bell is the second all-time leading girls scorer in the state in any classification.

The other girls unanimous first team selections are guards Laykn Donnelly of Horace and Fallon Passanante of Davies.

The boys first team has one unanimous selection, Carter Evanson of Horace.
