North Dakota State College of Science men’s basketball coach Gach Gach has been named Mon-Dak Coach of the year.
Gach led the Wildcats to a conference championship and the top seed in the Region XIII Tournament. The Wildcats posted a 26-6 overall record and went 10-2 in conference play while averaging 93.3 points per game.
NDSCS was especially strong on its home court, Ed Werre Arena, posting a 13-1 record inside the Claire T. Blikre Activities Center. The Wildcats shot 47 percent from the floor this season and 35 percent from three, making 10.4 triples per contest.
Gach, a Wildcat alumnus who is considered one of the best shooters in school history, earns Mon-Dak Coach of the Year in just his second season at the helm of NDSCS.
