The Wahpeton Huskies won their fourth straight game Friday in a 72-46 road thumping at Lisbon. Brayden Steffens (30 pts) and Jack Gilbertson (22 pts) carved up the Broncos defense on 21-of-36 shooting, knocking down 5 of 8 three-point attempts.
Steffens added three rebounds and five assists, while Gilbertson reeled in four rebounds and a game-high four steals. Cooper Koolmo paced the passing effort with a game-high seven assists and Treyton King produced eight points and six rebounds.
The Huskies swiped 15 steals while Lisbon mustered five. Wahpeton was calm with the basketball, committing just five turnovers compared to 24 for the Broncos.
The win ran Wahpeton’s record to 9-4 and dropped Lisbon to 7-6.
