Huskies hold off Central for third straight win

The Wahpeton Huskies (8-4) held on for a 50-49 road win Friday at Grand Forks Central (2-11) for their third straight win. Wahpeton was led by 17 points from Jack Gilbertson, 13 from Brayden Steffens and nine from Aiden Bontjes. 

Karter Oswalt hit a clutch three off the bench, while Treyton King and Alex Comings pulled down eight rebounds apiece. Rylan Flack was also a key paint presence off the bench with four points and five rebounds.

The 8-4 Huskies head to Lisbon to face the 7-4 Broncos on Friday for their only game this week.
