The New Year brought the same old teams at the top of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters & Sportswriters Association AA basketball polls, released Monday.
For the sixth time in as many polls this season, Minot tops the girls poll. The Majettes are 7-0 after wins last week over Horace, Aberdeen Central and Williston. Century remains second. Mandan moved up two places to number three.
Century continues at number one in AA boys. The Patriots are 6-0, but were tested at home Friday by fifth-ranked Dickinson before prevailing. Bismarck and Horace follow at second and third, respectively.
