The Breckenridge Cowboys remain unbeaten at 7-0 following a 70-46 home win Saturday over Border West (2-6). Breckenridge continues to post lopsided scores, resulting in a No. 7 statewide ranking in the Minnesota Scores Quality Results Formula.
The Cowboys sent 10 players to the scoring column in a balanced effort.
Aidan Sanchez led all scorers with 20 points. It was an efficient performance for the Cowboy junior, who shot 7 of 11 overall and 4 of 6 from three-point range.
Senior point forward Cooper Roberts posted a solid line with nine points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Junior guard Avery Smith scored eight points and tallied four assists. Levi Christensen, Joel Lopez and Brock Summerville had six points each. Charlie Kratcha and Paxton Yaggie scored five and Hunter Bogenreif scored four.
Breckenridge had 13 turnovers compared to 30 for the Buccaneers.
