The Wahpeton football team dropped its road game at No. 2-ranked Kindred on Thursday by a score of 47-7. The Huskies are now 0-8 with one more chance to log a win during next Friday’s regular-season finale, a home contest against Fargo South.
Brayden Steffens continued his prolific season for the Huskies. The senior receiver hauled in six receptions for 87 yards and his eighth touchdown of the year, surpassing his scoring total from 2024.
Michael Petersen led the Wahpeton ground game with 15 carries for 67 yards.
