Entering the final week of the regular season in 11A and 9-man football, as usual this season, not much has changed in the latest North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters & Sportswriters Association polls, released Wednesday.
Langdon Area/Munich tops the 11A poll for the seventh consecutive week. This time, the Cardinals, the only undefeated team remaining in 11A, were the unanimous number one selection among all 17 voters. Ellendale/Edgeley/Kulm moved up one spot to number four.
In 9-man, defending champion New Rockford-Sheyenne/Maddock is first for the eighth straight week. And on that same streak, LaMoure-Litchville/Marion is second. 12 first-place votes went to the Rockets, with three to the Loboes and two to Linton/Hazelton-Moffitt-Braddock/Strasburg-Zeeland, which is ranked third.
