
The Breckenridge-Wahpeton Storm softball team split its home opener Tuesday against Barnesville by scores of 10-0 and 8-7.
Marley Mumm pitched all 12 innings of the doubleheader, including a stingy three-hit shutout with seven strikeouts in the opener.
The Storm drew a dozen walks in the opener. Adi Dodge doubled and drove in three. Sydni Roberts walked three times and added a single.
Brooklyn Cota walked it off for the Trojans in the nightcap with a full-count, two-out, bases-loaded single.
The Storm was led by Collyn Hought’s 2-for-3 performance in game two.
