Scout Woods was all smiles after receiving her Region 1 Senior Athlete of the Year Award.
Wahpeton senior forward Scout Woods closes the final chapter on her decorated Lady Huskies basketball career with a Division A First-Team All-State selection, as voted by members of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.
Woods averaged 19.9 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 53% from the field and 80% at the free-throw line. Woods finishes her Wahpeton career with 1,976 points, second in program history to Tylee Irwin (South Dakota State University).
