The North Dakota State College of Science baseball team has been locked into some tight games this spring. The Wildcats are coming off a pair of one-run losses and a one-run win during their annual trip to Florida.

NDSCS (3-7) fell to SUNY Niagra, 6-5, and Moraine Valley, 9-8, before bouncing back with an 11-10 victory against SUNY Adirondack on Thursday.

Former Wahpeton standout Tori Uhlich batted 1-for-3 with a pair of runs in the loss to SUNY Niagra. Garrett Solberg was solid on the mound, working around five hits through 5.2 innings. Solberg allowed one earned run.
