Cowgirls ground Falcons in 69-54 home win

The Breckenridge Cowgirls broke the game open with a 20-3 run to start the second half as they cruised to a 69-54 home victory against Section 6A foe Park Christian Tuesday night. 
Parker Yaggie spurred the second half surge, going for 13 of her game-high 21 points after halftime. Yaggie’s fellow junior, Johnica Bernotas, buried three triples and paced Breck with 13 of her 17 points in the opening half. Sydni Roberts scored 10 of her 12 in the second period. 
Libby Suckert was led the way for the Falcons with 17 points, scoring her 1,000th point in the process as she entered the game needing 16. 
Next up for the 13-5 Cowgirls is a 7:30 p.m. road bout with the Frazee Hornets.
