
The Breckenridge Cowboys narrowly lost to the Perham Yellowjackets on Tuesday by a score of 69-64 at The Hive, as Perham swept the season series between Heart O’ Lakes Conference rivals.
Perham previously won in Breckenridge, 63-59.
Perham raced out to a 19-11 lead and carried a 34-33 halftime edge.
Aidan Sanchez led Breckenridge with 16 points, including a trio of 3-pointers in the second half. Cooper Roberts scored 15 points while Charlie Kratcha and Levi Christensen scored 10 each.
Jaxson Riggs followed with eight points and Avery Smith added five.
The Yellowjackets improved to 8-5 and the Cowboys fell to 7-7.
Breckenridge returns home at 7:30 p.m. Friday vs. Pelican Rapids.
