Terry J. Hoffman, age 63, Browns Valley, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Essentia Health Graceville.
Funeral Services will be Friday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Family Life Assembly of God Church in Sisseton with Rev. Vern Donnell officiating. Urn bearer will be Terry Miller.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the church. The Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt is in charge of the arrangements.
Terry James Hoffman was born December 26, 1961, to Odell and Shirley (Rieck) Hoffman in Wheaton, MN. He attended school in Browns Valley, graduating in 1980. He furthered his education at Alexandria Tech majoring in Business Management. After finishing school, he worked in Minneapolis as a car detail manager.
On August 16, 1991, Terry married Donna Bowers in Sisseton, SD. After their marriage, Terry and Donna moved to Fairmount, ND, and farmed with Meyer Farms. In 2004, they made their home in Browns Valley where he worked for Dale Zych and area farmers.
Terry enjoyed snowmobiling, driving around, and playing games and cards. He especially loved spending time with his grandson Zaxton, driving tractor, being in the field, and hauling grain.
Survivors include his wife, Donna of Browns Valley; children, Sarah (Curt) Fedor of Holdingford, MN, Nicole Hoffman of Beardsley, Cory (Alysa Cliff) Hoffman of Browns Valley, and Carman (Adam) Schneider of Browns Valley; several grandchildren; stepchildren, Sophia Koehman of Mayer, MN, and Christa Horton of Elk River, MN; sister, Cindy (Pat) Homan of Beardsley; and brother, Tim (Carol) Hoffman of Browns Valley.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Odell and Shirley; and brothers, Todd and Tom.
