Arlene J. Rossow, 77, of Prior Lake, MN, passed away on January 10, 2025. Her funeral service will be on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 11 am, with a visitation one hour before the service at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home in Wahpeton, ND. Burial will in Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton. René Hasbargen will officiate the service.
Arlene Joyce Rossow was born May 30, 1947 to Delmer and Adeline Rossow (Medenwaldt) in Breckenridge, Minnesota. Arlene was baptized and confirmed at the United Church of Christ, Hankinson, ND. She grew up on her parent’s farm near Hankinson, North Dakota and attended grades 1-5 at Elma #3 and grade 6-12 at New Effington, South Dakota graduating High School in 1965.
Arlene was preceded in death by her dear parents, Delmer and Adeline Rossow; her dearest brother, Gene Rossow; her great-niece, Kaitlyn Rossow; aunts and uncles; cousins, Roger and Paul Buckhouse, Judy Boen, Keith and Jeff Rossow, Wesley Rossow, David Speral, James O’Bannon, Raymound Steinhoiff; and her keeshond dog Kaite.
Arlene is survived by her sister-in-law, Celia Rossow; niece, Tammy (Phil) Torborg, nephew, Gary Rossow; great-nephews, Aaron (Rachel) Codden, Jacob Torborg (Hannah Anderson), Jaxon Torborg, great nieces Christina Codden (TuAhn Tran), Karissa Torborg (Zach Harmon), Madelyn Rossow, Ophelia Harmon, Ellimia Tran, Mila Codden; as well as many cousins and dear friends.
