
The North Dakota State College of Science basketball teams split on the road at Dawson Community College with the Lady Wildcats winning 92-61 and the Wildcat men falling 105-68.
The Lady ‘Cats added to their lead every quarter as they put five girls in double figures. Leading the way with 21 was Ezrah Baker with four triples in the effort. Demi Van Gils, Ava Boyes and Lolo Carlow each scored 13 while McKena Koolmo notched 10.
The victory improved NDSCS to 14-4 on the season and 1-0 in conference.
The Wildcat men trailed by 33 at halftime as they struggled to slow down a Balanced Bucs attack with seven players hitting double-digit scoring. The Wildcats got 15 apiece from Jikany Deang and Mikkel Cintron.
The NDSCS men are 7-11 on the year and 0-3 in conference.
