Noah Christensen played a season-high 27 minutes Saturday and posted his second game of the year with 3 or more blocked shots
Breckenridge High School alumnus Noah Christensen had a solid all-around performance Saturday while starring for Concordia College at the Nebraska Wesleyan Snyder Classic.
The 6-foot-10 senior forward was 2-for-2 from the floor with a modest four points. Christensen filled up the box score, however, with eight rebounds, four assists, three blocks and a steal — the latter three categories representing team highs.
Concordia led nearly the entire contest, but Nebraska Wesleyan charged back on its home court in a 76-70 double-overtime win. The Prairie Wolves were carried by 20 points from Carter Glenn and 18 by Conner Brown.
The Concordia offense flowed through Jackson Loge and Rowan Nelson. Loge, a 6-foot-7 junior forward from Donnelly, Minnesota, posted 26 points and 16 rebounds. Nelson, a 6-foot-6 senior forward from Melrose, Minnesota, recorded 25 points and nine rebounds.
