Breckenridge Police are investigating after a man was shot inside a home early on Thanksgiving morning. The department says around 2:30am officers were called to the 200 block of 3rd street north where a man wo does not live at the home was suffering from gunshot wounds. the homeowner as also there but was not hurt. The gunshot victim was taken to CHI St. Francis emergency room before being flown to another hospital. Breckenridge Police Chief Kris Karlgaard says the man’s injuries are life threatening but he is expected to survive. Karlgaard says the shooting is an isolated incident and no arrests have been made.
