Former NDSCS star Roosevelt “Rose” Cage sets TD record at Indiana Wesleyan

Indiana Wesleyan football junior and former North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) running back, Roosevelt Cage, was named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Mideast Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is his second league weekly honor of the season and the tenth for the Wildcats this year.
Cage set a new single-season program record with his 16th rushing touchdown of the year. He finished with 218 yards and a season-high four touchdowns on 15 carries.
The Wildcats earned a 3-seed in the NAIA Football Championship Series and a bye through the first round. Indiana Wesleyan will learn their second-round opponent on Saturday, Nov. 23 after the first-round games are played.
Cage ran for 1,068 yards and 12 touchdowns last season at NDSCS in Wahpeton.
