
Three defenders fail to stop NDSCS forward Maggie Westling from converting a bucket
The North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) women’s basketball team improved to 7-0 following a pair of weekend wins at the Baymont Classic in Wahpeton. The Lady Wildcats topped Rochester 66-53 before beating Anoka-Ramsey 57-43. Freshman post Maggie Westling recorded back-to-back doubles, racking up 47 points and 31 rebounds between Friday and Saturday.
Freshman guard Demi Van Gils (pictured) scored 10 points in the win over Rochester. Sophomore guard and Wahpeton native McKena Koolmo scored 15 points in the tournament.
