Roosevelt Cage, the lead tailback on last year’s NDSCS Wildcats football team, is having a highly-successful season at NCAA Division II Indiana Wesleyan. Cage has appeared in six games, racking up 430 yards rushing on 56 carries — a healthy 7.7 yards per tote.
Cage is tied for the team lead with nine touchdowns. The Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats are 7-1 and ranked No. 3 in the country.
As a sophomore at NDSCS in 2023-24, Cage rumbled for 1,068 yards and 12 touchdowns. Cage played high school football at Thomas Jefferson High in Burnsville, Minnesota.
