One week removed from the best performance of his college career, former North Dakota State College of Science wide receiver Marselio Mendez posted a carbon copy of that effort, reeling in a team-high 7 receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown in a 48-7 win at Carleton. Mendez, a senior at Saint John’s University, has helped the Johnnies to a 6-0 start and a No. 3 national ranking.
Former Breckenridge High School linebacker Cooper Yaggie was stout once again, tying for the Johnnies lead in tackles with 5 and bursting into the backfield for a sack.
