
The North Dakota State College of Science volleyball team topped Miles Community College at home Tuesday, 3-1, during Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night. The Wildcats dropped the first set, 25-20, before reeling off wins of 25-17, 25-17, 26-24.
Sam Kohl, reigning Mon-Dak Conference Player of the Week, led NDSCS with 16 kills. Mya Boomsma was also dynamite with 14 kills of her own. Marley Wheeler posted nine kills and two block assists. Katelyn Stalboerger had a team-high three block assists.
Payton Foster deposited four service aces and racked up 36 assists to lead the passing front, as NDSCS improved to 16-2. Statistics for the digs column were unavailable.
