The Wahpeton Lady Huskies golf team is sitting in fourth place through day one of the NDHSAA Class “A” State Tournament in Mandan. Wahpeton carded a 367, coming in behind Bismarck St. Mary’s (363), West Fargo Sheyenne (336) and Grand Forks Red River (328).
Olivia Hansen paced the Huskies pack with a 90, followed by Claire Langenwalter (91), Halle Miller/Scout Woods (93), London Nordick (94) and Ella Langenwalter (106).
Hansen is currently tied for 19th heading into the second and final round Tuesday at Prairie West Golf Course. Claire Langenwalter, Miller and Woods are each inside the top 30 on the leaderboard.
