A Wolverton man died from injuries sustained after rolling an ATV near Wolverton on Friday.
Carl Nord, 64, was driving the vehicle with four other occupants in the Can-AM side-by-side when he drove it onto a gravel pile, causing the vehicle to roll.
Wilkin County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash, which occurred near 150th St. and 200th Ave., and extricated Nord from the vehicle. The deputies began life-saving measures, but they were unsuccessful.
None of the other occupants were injured according to a press release from the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office and alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The sheriff’s department was assisted on the scene by Barnesville Ambulance and Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge.
