Breckenridge holds off Barnesville as Vogelbacher improves to 5-0 on the bump

Breckenridge Post 53 improved its record to 9-4 on Monday when the Redbulls defeated Barnesville at home in a 4-3 affair. 
Trey Vogelbacher got the win on the mound, allowing two earned runs across five innings. Vogelbacher ran his unbeaten streak to five starts and now sports a stellar 0.96 ERA across 29 innings. The righty worked around 11 baserunners while striking out three batters.
Logan Church used his signature curveball to secure a two-inning save. The lefty held Barnesville scoreless and hitless while striking out a pair of batters.
Offensively, Post 53 was led by RBIs from Cooper Roberts, Connor Ernst and Vogelbacher. Paul Armitage was the only player from either squad to record two hits in the ballgame.
