Wahpeton Post 20 extended its American Legion Baseball winning streak to 29 games Wednesday evening with a pair of 10-0 home wins over Ada.
Post 20 improved to 6-0 this summer, having won four games in shutout fashion. They’ve outscored opponents 71-17 thus far.
Aiden Hajek earned his second victory on the mound to begin the twin bill. Hajek also batted 2-for-2 with a triple in the nightcap.
Jayden King pitched a gem of his own to secure the sweep, as his perfect game was finally broken up by a fourth-inning bunt single.
The 6’4” lefty struck out nine of the 12 batters he faced, starting and ending his performance by striking out the side.
Jackson Fliflet hit three doubles and caught a runner stealing from his catcher position.
Wahpeton is back in action Friday with a doubleheader in Fosston.
